NASS & NAPC
Twin websites for substation services companies. The primary demographic for this site included the casual internet user, so I designed the theme as clean as possible, while including photography from their archives. I also incorporated stock photography, as needed. A mobile-first approach was also utilized; the mobile experience was tailored to be as easy to use as possible (the menu opens downward and each page link is clearly a button). There were a few sections that required some custom implementations (the services section for the NASS site turns into an accordion section on mobile).
The I.T. team at the company wanted to be able to edit the content, so I used Wordpress for these two themes. I created custom fields and sections for them so content was easily editable through the Wordpress Customizer.
